The original Galaxy Beam was first launched in the year 2012 with an idea to provide a built-in projector within the phone. Though the phone did not get any popularity with this unique concept, Samsung took another step towards this technology in 2014 by releasing Galaxy Beam 2. Like the previous variant, this phone was also a flop and did no wonders in the market. Now the rumors are there that the company is working on a new phone, i.e. Galaxy Beam 3 with an advanced HD or qHD built-in projector which might be announced in the last quarter of this year.
Galaxy Beam 3 is a mid-range device with average hardware specifications and a bigger battery to support the built-in projector. The phone features a 5.1 inch Super AMOLED screen with HD display. The phone will come with Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box. The expected price of the phone is around Rs. 23,999 in India, though nothing is confirmed at this stage.
