Moto E4 (2017), model number XT1723, has just clear US Federal Communication Commission (FCC), which confirms that the new generation Moto E device is very near to its launch. Moto E series is a budget smartphone which is very popular in Asian countries, and this upcoming model XT1723 seems to be the successor of Moto E3 which was released last year. Though not much information has been revealed in the FCC listing, but it is confirmed that Moto E4 will be equipped with a 4000mAh battery. Just to recall, Moto E3 was packed with only 3500mAh battery.
Going through the FCC listing, it is also clear that Moto E4 will have a 16GB base model and it is expected that it will also be available in a 32GB variant. The other specifications are still not revealed either by FCC or by the company. Therefore, we have to wait for an official statement for known the key specs of this upcoming Moto device.
It is expected that E4 will have a 5 inch HD display and 2GB / 3GBG of RAM. Moreover, it may come with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. Moto E series is built for longer battery life with basic smartphone features and E4 is no different. For photography, it may come with an 8MP primary camera and a 5MP selfie camera. We can’t expect any fancy feature in E4 because of its price range, which will be kept around Rs. 6,000. Recent rumours also state that E4 will come in two variants, one with 2GB RAM and other with 3GB RAM.
