Micromax HS3, the upcoming camera smartphone, has been spotted on GFXbench, a benchmarking website, which has revealed many specifications of this upcoming phone. The phone runs on the latest Android 7.1.2 Nougat OS with some Micromax exclusive customisations. The phone might come in Black color only. It is a single SIM phone with 3G and 4G network support. The phone is integrated with all the standard features like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, 3.5mm audio port and a micro USB port.
Micromax HS3 has a 5.1 inch IPS display with a resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels. It is a touchscreen display with at least 5 finger gesture support. The phone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 430 chipset with an octa-core processor which is clocked at 1.4GHz. It has 3GB of RAM and an Adreno 505 GPU. The internal storage is 32GB but it also has support for microSD card up to 256GB.

The main focus of Micromax HS3 is its camera section. At the rear, it has a 16MP camera with touch-focus, LED flash, auto-focus, and HDR. On the front, it has a powerful 20MP selfie camera that is optimized for selfies and video calling. The battery of HS3 is non-removable, but the capacity is still not known. The phone is expected to come with fingerprint sensors and FM Radio.
As per the hardware specifications, the phone is expected to be around Rs. 9,999. Micromax rarely works on camera smartphones, but HS3 seems to be an exception and it will be pretty exciting to see how this mobile will perform in the Indian market.
